NEW CD - EXCITING NEWS !!!!    BRIAN'S LONG AWAITED NEW CD IS DUE FOR RELEASE IN JANUARY, 2010.   After much anticipation, we can finally announce Brian' s new CD, which is aptly titled 'TIMELESS" will be launched during the 2010 Country Music Festival and as promised the album is another outstanding effort, with an inclusion of a "sweet surprise" !!  With Lindsay Butler's master ship and Brian's now proven successful formula, Brian has ensured there is something for all his supporters.  The 'Sweet Surprise" comes about by the delightful inclusion of Brian's youngest son, Matthew's recording debut.  Although, he was extremely nervous, Matt has done an excellent first attempt at recording.  The album is highlighted by the track titled "SOLDIER ON' a topical and powerful ballad, as well as Brian's personal favourite, 'LOVING YOU, YOUR WAY".  The CD also introduces some hand picked, original Irish songs which Brian delivers superbly, as well as the easy listening standards "BRAND NEW BED OF ROSES' and  'HILLS OF HOME'.  Brian's supporters are guaranteed the wait was worthwhile, you will immensely enjoy this CD.  Please DO NOT send payment for this CD, yet. .  We will advise when stock is available.

Brian's appearances at the forthcoming January 2010 Tamworth Country Music Festival are now finalised.  Brian will present 4 shows which are to be again held in the auditorium of the  Kootingal Bowling Club, as well as his new CD launch concert which is scheduled to take place on Friday, 22nd January in the LBS Auditorium.  Of course, you can also catch Brian at the Tamworth Harness Racing meetings which are programmed during the Festival.   Unfortunately, due to Brian’s heavy commitment schedule during the period of the festival, we have post-poned the fan club morning tea gathering until 2011.  Please refer to the tour dates and venues for details of all performances.

TAMWORTH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL

JANUARY, 2010

AT THE STABLES .....Harness racing in the area is in the mid stages of the season and a very busy period coming up.  January highlights  - the "cup carnival".   Current stable star "GO MADDY GO" is continuing to race consistently without any luck and is looking "picture perfect".  She is very fit and is racing very keenly, ensuring that she should soon finish prominently "amongst the money" before too long.  A couple of familiar faces have now moved on.  After completing his early preparation, we have handed over the training of "Kind Smile" to another local trainer.  "Smiley" will be a horse to watch with interest during the season.  "Candy" - Essjayelle has been retired from our stable.  "Doc" suffered a minor leg injury and will be spelled for the next 6 months or so.

Charley is progressing well in his education and appears to have "turned the corner".  Charley, now aptly named "Double Strike" should commence his racing career in the new year, once a couple of his major issues can be sorted.    "Tex" has re-joined the stables after his spell, is very keen to work and is progressing extremely well.  If all goes well with Tex, he should be at the races before the end of the season.   Jessica, who is now 12 months old has joined us, for the first time to commence her breaking and educating.  'White Lightning", the mini trotter, earned Matt the runner-up trophy for highest point sore for the Tamworth Club in 2008/2009 season, and is proving he will be up there again in 2009/2010.

Brian & Michele recently purchased a gelding, 'LIVING ART', who has joined the stable in the past few weeks.  "Arty" is a lovely, kind gentleman who is a pleasure to train and race.

We have also welcomed two brand new foals to the stables - Marsa gave birth to a filly in early November and Jemma followed a week later with a handsome colt.

FINALIST AT BUNGENDORE, 2010

Brian is a final 3 nominee in the 2010 Stan Coster Country Music Awards which are held annually, in conjunction with the Bungendore Country Muster.  Brian has again been successful in receiving a final berth at the awards with his nomination, "SORRY MATE".  This song was released on the LBS COUNTRY COLLECTION in 2009, with these awards in mind.   And, as is now "the norm", Brian will be performing at the Muster, this year -  on both Saturday evening and Sunday.  See Tour Dates.
